Kate Benn (Tiny Head) : there will always be a place in my heart for you Huw

As you can see from this memory, Kate was another person who had a unique and special friendship with Huw.  ‘”Tiny Head” played football today and has also been involved in other stuff like the coffe shop in May at the Folk Festival.  Kate is a lovely girl and here is a lovely memory from her; thank you Kate 🙂

Huw.  I haven’t yet wrote anything to you yet because I just can’t / don’t want to believe it yet.  It seems so unreal, I can’t seem to get my “tiny head” round it.  It upsets me a lot just thinking about it.  All the memories we had, thinking about them now brings a smile to my face.  You were funny, talented, smart, kind, loving person, who everyone got along with.  You were truly loved.

I remember when you came to my house for the first time.  Heather decided to tell my dad you was my boyfriend.  So my dad embarassed me by meeting you at the door, shaking your hand and asking you questions. 

Dad – “what are your prospects in life?”

Huw – “what does that mean?” – you looked clueless.

The memories of that night will be with me forever.  I thought you and Gemma Small would marry. Ha! Who am I going to talk to about Jordan?

You had an amazing life with all your wonderful memories and will never be forgotten.  And always will be loved.  Everyone is thinking of you.
