Cardiff can’t ‘do it for Huw’
Well the Bluebirds couldn’t make it in the end. The best team over the two legs won and good luck to Reading in the final. I think most people around here wanted Cardiff to win for Huw, but it wasn’t to be this year (again!)
Huw now has a logo, sponsor form, flyer, poster and official collecting boxes
Thanks to Geoff Lee of 360 innovation Huw now has a Huw Thatcher Trust logo. Geoff is such a good friend of the family and we are really pleased with the logo. There is also an A4 flyer, an A3 poster and a sponsorship form. All these are as below. Please feel free to use any of them in any promotion or fundraising work.
A little help along the way – Huwie’s Mum
I have come across 2 books which are helping and I would recommend anyone who would like some additional help to read them too. The first, a very spiritual reassuring book called “Angels Watching Over Me” by Jacky Newcomb and the second which is more a practical aid to help understand loss called “I Wasn’t Ready To Say Goodbye” by Brook Noel & Pamela D. Blair. Of course, no one is ready to say goodbye, but I would say, these books have helped just a small bit. Both books have something to offer for everyone involved in Huw’s life or anyone who didn’t know Huw but have lost someone else. Anyway, if you do want to read these books.. Amazon is a great source to order and get next day delivery. The Angel Book is a different story as I stumbled across it in a really lovely way…. But I am sure it is on the Amazon site too. Peace and Love. Jen xxxxxx

Message from Nick, Jenny and Carys: to everyone
The last seven weeks or so have obviously brought some dark days – and there will be many difficult times for us to face in the future. The loss of Huw is felt most acutely by the 3 of us, but we are aware that hundreds of others have shared this sense of loss and disbelief. Read more
Message from Nick: to the Hepworth Under 15 players
Hi Lads.
I am posting this message to say that as well as being good friends to me, Jenny, Huw and Carys, I have loved watching you playing football over the last weeks. It has been emotional, and I miss watching Huw play football in a way that is sometimes very difficult. But it would be much worse if I didn’t come to the matches – and watching you play is really uplifting. Read more
